Church

Cedar Valley Christian Center (CVCC) is a place where you can learn exactly what the Word of God says about you and your family. Our community is built on the foundation of prayer, support, and encouragement. We believe that when one member hurts, we all hurt, and when one wins, we all celebrate together.

At CVCC, we are dedicated to fostering a nurturing environment where families can grow spiritually and emotionally. We offer a variety of programs and resources to help you deepen your faith and strengthen your connections with others.

Join us for our services every Sunday at 10 AM and Wednesday at 7 PM. We can’t wait to see you and welcome you into our loving community!

Church History

Cedar Valley Christian Center was first called Cedar Valley Bible Church, which was organized in the Pastor’s home with all his sisters and brothers, and their families. Pastor Glenn T. Young was called into the ministry in 1971; he began his ministry at Cedar Valley Bible Church which is now known as Cedar Valley Christian Center in 1979. This would mark the beginning of the first phases of Cedar Valley Christian Center. The Church held is meeting in a different member’s home each week.
We later purchased 2.9 acres of land in Lancaster, Texas where we built our first church facility. Our building permit was issued on July 20, 1981 where a small building that held 100 people quickly grew up to 500 members. As finances and membership increased.
Pastor Glenn T. Young made a decision to concentrate on and begin phase two of the Ministry winch was open and operate a fully staffed licensed daycare center, which is known as Cedar Valley Christian Daycare.  In 1985 Cedar Valley Christian Center opens its doors to accept children for care..  The daycare facility is currently housed in the old fellowship site and offer quality daycare service to over 500 homes within the Cedar Valley Christian Center community. We are legally and state licensed to care for 85 children and operate at capacity 98 percent of the time.
