Classes:

Infant & Toddlers
Kid’s University offers infants an ideal environment that stimulates their senses and is fun and safe. Our state licensed teachers provide a warm, loving and caring place for babies to grow and learn. We hold our babies when feeding from bottles, place them on their tummies to help build their upper body strength and prepare them to crawl and walk. We play music, sing, clap, read stories and use “regular” words to help process language and build an extensive vocabulary which will assist students in a stronger educational foundation.

Toddlers II & Preschool
Because we know toddlers love to explore and our state licensed teachers provide a classroom environment that helps toddlers explore skills like pushing, pulling, sorting, crawling, and walking. We use additional ways such as songs, center time, circle time (morning-meet time), rhyming and nursery rhymes to help our toddlers in the learning process. Potty learning (training) is our specialty. When parents and toddlers are ready for this stage, we are there to support.

Pre-Kindergarten- Carolyn A. Young Private School
Each day is planned with a variety of hands-on activities to encourage listening and socializing skills. Students are also encouraged to solve problems, take turns, and show sympathy for others. Students are introduced to expanding vocabulary words, math, science, colors, shapes, and much more. Our goal is to be sure students are ready and capable for kindergarten emotionally, physically, socially, and behaviorally. We develop a strong parent-teacher partnership to assist in this process of building this firm foundation and a love for learning.

Before & After Care – Transportation
Let our state licensed transportation vans and drivers pick up your students from our facility, take them to their respective elementary schools and return them back to our facility once school has concluded. We are also able to pick up children from their personal homes and take children back to their personal homes. Our drivers are trained and tested with certificates, so you can have peace of mind that your most prized possessions are in the good hands. Kids University offers homework assistance, summer enrichment programs and fall/spring and winter break care.

Nutrition
Fueling Energy All Day Long.
Kid’s University serves a nutritious breakfast, hearty lunch, a light snack, and supper (for before and after care students) daily. Thoughtfully balanced menus are planned weekly with children in mind. Our meals are nutrient-packed, wholesome and carefully selected according to our partnership USDA Food Program. Our meal preparer introduces children to food new experiences as teachers encourage kids to taste different foods. Each meal is prepared with allergies, dietary, and safety restrictions in mind for all children. Babies: Moms are welcome to tell us how, when, what to feed their baby.
